Indigenous Agroforestry Quarterly Webinar
Join us for the Indigenous Agroforestry Network's final webinar of the year! Our quarterly webinars are designed to foster connection among agroforestry practitioners and partners, build relationships, and increase awareness of programs and services available to Tribes and Indigenous land stewards.
This webinar will feature Tribal Liaisons from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), who will introduce themselves, share more about their roles and responsibilities, and offer insight into their work supporting Tribal communities and Indigenous land stewards. Together, we’ll explore how NRCS works with Tribes and land stewards, what resources and technical assistance may be available, and how our network can build connections and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
Whether you’re a Tribal natural resource professional, agroforestry practitioner, cultural practitioner, small landowner, or simply interested in learning more about NRCS, this webinar is an opportunity to make connections, ask questions, and learn more about the support and services available to you and your community.
This webinar is led by the Indigenous Agroforestry Network, a collection of partners across the Pacific Northwest including Ecotrust, USDA National Agroforestry Center, US Forest Service, Heritage University, Cal Poly Humboldt, Washington State University Extension, and Oregon State University.

Join us for the Indigenous Agroforestry Network’s upcoming webinar!
This session explores two emerging forest farming opportunities in the Pacific Northwest: bigleaf maple syrup and forest-grown shiitake mushrooms. As demand grows, these practices are creating new income streams while adapting to the region’s unique ecosystems.
Patrick Shults (Washington State University Extension) will share insights on the challenges and opportunities of implementing these systems in the Pacific Northwest.
Don’t miss this chance to learn, connect, and be part of a growing movement in Indigenous agroforestry.
